Upcoming Features of MCPE 0.9.0

Hey Pocket Miners, sorry about the lack of posts recently. However, I am sure you have all been eagerly playing on the newly released 0.8.0 version of MCPE released a few days ago. For those of you who are still yet to update or finding out about it for the first time, the update has been referred to as being the biggest MCPE update yet and has really lived up to that. Since the release we have been introduced to the long wanted Minecarts with Rails. As well as the ability to mine Redstone which allowed for items such as Powered Rails, Clocks and Compasses. Cobblestone Walls were implemented as well as Carpets, Flint and Steel in Creative to denote TNT and also many new plants and seeds. These include: MCPE Exclusive Beetroots, Carrots, Potatoes and Pumpkins.
These are just a few of the brand new features implemented into Minecraft Pocket Edition in the 0.8.0 update which brung us the ability to Breed mobs too. If you have not updated it yet, I strongly recommend that you update it as soon as possible for these great new features.
However, with the release of 0.8.0 we are now getting the latest on the update to follow, which will be 0.9.0. The release date for this update is not known but we will be sure to keep you updated on that. As for the features to be implemented into MCPE 0.9.0 when it is released, we will see the highly anticipated Infinate Worlds - which can be added on to the finate worlds we currently have now with a toggle switch on the menu. Villagers and Villages will also be added to the game, with perhaps the ability to Trade with Villagers either in 0.9.0 or the update afterwards. Along with Trading, there must be some sort of currency. Therefore, Emeralds will be added into 0.9.0 which will be obtainable through Emerald Ore. As well as them, we will finally have an in-game skin changer, whether that be user created skins or skin packs - or both we do not know. As always we will keep you posted on anymore news of that. We will also be introduced to more Mobs, which ones we are unsure, but it is confirmed we will have Enderman. Caves will also be implemented as well as naturally occurring Tall Grass which will come with an option to generate it into a world or not. Mineshafts, Dungeons and Desert Temples may also be released in the update, but that is not completely been confirmed.
Hunger in MCPE is also being debated by the MCPE developers as they are unsure whether users would like the implementation of the Hunger Bar or not. If Hunger was to be introduced into 0.9.0 it would make survival mode more challenging and would also bring a point to farming as you need to eat to replenish your Hunger Bar.
That is pretty much it for now, more update information will be released soon and we will keep you up to date on that.
Would you like the Hunger Bar to be implemented into MCPE? What is your favourite feature that's going to be added? What feature would you like to see most added in 0.9.0?
Please comment below, we love hearing from our readers.
We will be sure to keep you posted on the latest news, and make sure to follow us on Twitter for the very latest @Zajofa_MCPE.
Until next time Pocket Miners! :D

  2. I agree, I think pistons would be a great addition to MCPE. We really hope for placable Redstone first though. 😄
